This section is divided into two utilities. The "Carat weight" table enables you to estimate the number of carats on the basis of the gemstone diameters and the known quantity of each diameter. With the "Density converter" you can determine the approximate weight of one or more pieces in the light of the known volume and chosen material. You may also convert the weight of a piece in a particular material into another alloy of your own choice.
Please note that the results obtained using these two utilities are no more than an estimate based on the theory of empirical models.
